The Elms Barn is exclusive and unique. It is not hotel, but a private home that opens its doors to you and your wedding party. It represents a genuine and affordable alternative to a marquee wedding at home and a venue for those of you who wish for the individual attention that we pride ourselves on. Apart from the above. The Elms offers:- A beautiful 17th century barn for both your wedding (civil ceremony) and the reception, capable of seating 120 guests. - A 60' x 20' fully lined and carpeted marquee for your canapes and champagne. - The seclusion and privacy amongst its stunning gardens, lakes and ancient moat, which provides countless opportunities for memorable photographs. - 3 lovingly restored country cottages and, coming soon Stackyard Lodge, an 8 bedroom converted barn. - Selection of menus all prepared on site by our renowned chef, Adrian Clarke. - Wine list and private bar. Elms Barn is unique in that it offers a wedding celebration over three days during which time the barn, marquee and gardens are exclusively yours. There are 3 self catering cottages and a bed and breakfast lodge which sleep 34 in total. Your guests who are sleeping in the accommodation may arrive from 2pm on the day prior to the wedding. You may either have supper on site in our heated marquee or take your party out to a local eatery. You and your party will then spend the night and awake to what we promise will be a memorable wedding day. The wedding party will then have breakfast on the following day before departing at 11am. Included with the rental price is exclusive use of the barn, the marquee and the grounds for the duration of your visit. There is also a Bentley to convey the bride from the bridal suite to the marquee and barn for the ceremony, then at midnight the Bentley takes the bride and groom back to the bridal suite for their wedding night.
